What Raqib is
Raqib is a portfolio-tracking and informational application. You record the investments you already own, and Raqib organises them and calculates figures from your own records on your device.
What Raqib does not do
- Raqib does not execute trades.
- Raqib does not route, transmit or arrange orders to any broker, exchange or venue.
- Raqib does not provide custody of securities.
- Raqib does not hold, receive, transfer or handle client money.
- Raqib does not provide personalised financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and makes no recommendation about any security.
- Raqib has no access to and no connection with your brokerage account.
Approvals and affiliations we do not have
- Raqib is not licensed, authorised, registered or supervised by the Capital Markets Authority of Kuwait or by any other financial regulator, and does not claim to be.
- Raqib is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by Boursa Kuwait.
- Raqib is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by Apple. “Coming soon on the App Store” describes our intention to submit the app; it is not a statement that Apple has reviewed or accepted it.
- Raqib is not endorsed or approved by any government body.
- Raqib holds no security certification and has not been independently audited.
- Company names, trading symbols and sector names are used only to identify securities. They do not imply any relationship with the companies concerned.
How data in the app is labelled
We would rather show a labelled figure, or nothing at all, than an unlabelled number you might mistake for an official one.
- Delayed third-party data — Market prices are delayed third-party data sourced from Yahoo Finance. Data may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed or temporarily unavailable. Raqib is not affiliated with Yahoo Finance or Boursa Kuwait and does not provide investment advice. Prices are labelled with their source and session date where they appear and are not official Boursa Kuwait prices.
- Delay — the source does not state a fixed delay and Raqib does not claim one. A delayed price is labelled as delayed with its session date, never as current.
- Estimated data — dividend figures are estimates derived from your own holdings and from published information. They are labelled as estimates and are not a promise of any payment.
- Illustrative projections — growth and income projections are simple calculations based on figures you provided. They are labelled as educational, and are not forecasts.
- Unavailable data — when a price cannot be retrieved, Raqib shows that it is unavailable. It never substitutes a stale figure, a guess, or zero.
- Your own records — the holdings, prices and dates you enter or import are your data, and their accuracy depends on what you provided.
