Terms of Use

Please read these terms before using Raqib.

Last updated: 27 July 2026

Raqib is a tool for keeping track of investments you already own. It is not a broker, not a custodian, and not a financial adviser.

What Raqib provides

Raqib is a personal portfolio tracking application for investments listed on Boursa Kuwait. You enter your own holdings, or import them from your own statements, and Raqib organises them and calculates figures such as cost basis, exposure and estimated dividend income on your device.

Not financial advice

  • Nothing in Raqib is personalised investment, tax or legal advice, and nothing in it is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security.
  • Projections and dividend estimates are illustrative calculations based on figures you provided and simple assumptions. They are not forecasts and not a promise of any outcome.
  • You are responsible for your own investment decisions. Consider taking advice from a licensed professional before acting.

No trading, no custody, no money

  • Raqib does not execute, route, or arrange any transaction in any security.
  • Raqib never holds, receives or transfers your money or your securities.
  • Raqib has no connection to your brokerage account and cannot act on it.
  • Raqib is not licensed or supervised by the Capital Markets Authority of the State of Kuwait or by any other financial regulator, and nothing in the service should be understood as a licensed securities activity.

Accuracy of information

  • Figures that come from your own records are only as accurate as what you entered or imported. Please check imported rows before saving them.
  • Market prices are delayed third-party data sourced from Yahoo Finance. Data may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed or temporarily unavailable. Raqib is not affiliated with Yahoo Finance or Boursa Kuwait and does not provide investment advice. Prices are not official Boursa Kuwait prices.
  • Raqib is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Boursa Kuwait or any exchange, broker or issuer.
  • Company names and tickers are used only to identify securities.
  • Past performance is not a guide to future performance.

Your account and your encryption key

  • You must provide accurate registration details and keep your credentials confidential.
  • Your portfolio is encrypted with a key held on your device. You are responsible for keeping your recovery code safe.
  • If you lose every device you use Raqib on and your recovery code, your encrypted portfolio cannot be recovered by anyone, including us. We cannot restore it, because we never hold the key.
  • You may delete your account at any time from inside the app.

Acceptable use

  • Use Raqib only for your own personal portfolio tracking.
  • Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service, other people’s accounts, or our infrastructure.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt the service, or to extract data belonging to anyone else.
  • Do not reverse engineer or redistribute the application except where the law expressly permits it.

Availability and changes

Raqib is under active development and has not yet been released publicly. Features described on this site as planned may change or may not ship. We may modify, suspend or discontinue parts of the service, and we may update these terms; when we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.

Disclaimers and liability

Raqib is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for investment losses, for decisions you make using the app, or for data that becomes unreadable because a recovery code was lost. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.

Who operates Raqib, and governing law

Raqib is operated by its individual developer and is not currently operated by an incorporated company. These terms apply to this website and, from the day the Raqib application becomes available, to the application as well; a download from the App Store is additionally governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait. If Raqib incorporates, or introduces any paid service, the operator identity and these terms will be updated first.
